Our legal fees
Our legal fees are calculated in accordance with the practices of the legal profession and according to the following methods:
- An estimated amount of the service is communicated to the client verbally or in writing.
We take into account the personal and financial situation of the client. In accordance with the practices of the legal profession, the prior payment of a service to be claimed on the fees and costs is generally required. The provision would be deducted from the total amount of the last fee note issued.
• Once the firm is in charge of a file, the fees should be payable – even if the file is withdrawn before its conclusion – insofar as legal work has been started. - The various fees and expenses related to the case are billed to the client and are not to be confused with the firm legal fees. This may include, in particular, bailiff fees, court fees, database research costs, shipping costs, photocopies, travel costs, etc.
- Generally the fees are determined according to several parameters, but three of these factors are more decisive: the complexity of the case, the time spent in processing the case and the financial stake they represent.
